PCSO Laura Almond, PC Andy Davis and PCSO Natalie Hayes have had an enjoyable Saturday (12 Aug) engaging with the crowds and providing tasty, bite-sized crime prevention advice.
Youngsters – and some not quite so young – also had great fun trying on police uniform and grabbing the freebies that were handed out.
PCSO Hayes said: “We’ve had lots of questions about our job and policing as a career. We were also happy to provide a range of helpful advice about crime prevention and dealing with anti-social behaviour issues in our area.
“All in all, it was a very successful event for us. We really felt the public appreciated our presence and our efforts to engage with them.
“We thank the organisers, and everyone involved in the festival, who have made it such a brilliant day for Filey.”
