More than 1200 primary school children have taken part in workshops aimed to help and support them as they grow older.
Subjects including online safety, fire safety, water safety, smoking and vaping and drug awareness were just some of the subjects covered at Crucial Crew.
The event saw 56 schools from across Hambleton, Richmondshire and Harrogate Districts attend the Carlton Lodge Activity Centre near Thirsk. With North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service along with partner agencies deliver informative and fun workshops to 1278 children.
The event is organised by the School Liaison Team but they could not run without the support of partner services including North Yorkshire Youth, NYC Living Well and Neighbourhood Policing Colleagues, who are integral to the delivery of the sessions.
The team already have big plans to deliver more courses in 2024.
