Plane crash in Ahmedabad

The A1 between Catterick and Ripon reopened at around 8am on 14 December following the serious collision on the night of 13 December.
13 December
The A1 motorway between Ripon (J50) and Catterick (J52) has been closed in both directions due to a serious collision.
The collision was reported at around 11.15pm on Wednesday 13 December.
The road is expected to remain closed for several hours.
Motorists and asked to follow the diversions put in place and follow @HighwaysYORKS for the latest information.
