Our officers and staff at Malton Police Station have been treated to a tasty Christmas surprise.
The local Morrisons store presented them with mince pies, biscuits and chocolates on Wednesday (20 Dec) evening.
This was a small “thank you” for the work they do to keep the community safe all year round.
They were chosen by the supermarket’s staff who nominated them to the store’s Community Champion, Marie Collis.
PC Jane Jones (pictured below) collected the goodies on behalf of the team.
Ryedale Inspector Martin Dennison said: “This is a lovely and kind gesture from the staff at Morrisons which is greatly appreciated by everyone at the station.
“We’re proud to serve our community and we wish everyone a very merry and peaceful Christmas.”
