The ambulance service contacted us at 11.13am on Saturday 18 May to ask for assistance after a member of the public had discovered a body on Craven Street in Skipton.
Officers attended and they found a body of a man in his 70s. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death, but we don’t believe that there are any suspicious circumstances.
