Two men from Bradford are in custody after being arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and burglary.
We received a call in the early hours of Wednesday 8 May reporting suspicious activity at a property in Thornton-in-Craven.
A short time later we arrived at the location and found two men sat inside a van.
During a search of the vehicle we found equipment often used in burglaries, including balaclavas, pliers, wire cutters, screw-drivers, gloves and a hooked implement.
The equipment was seized and the two men, aged 26 and 34, were arrested and taken into custody for questioning, where they currently remain.
If you saw any suspicious activity in the area, or have any other information that could assist our investigation, please email [email protected]
