This weekend, officers across several of our teams were busy with a significant investigation in Richmond, showcasing exceptional teamwork and intelligence-led policing.
It began on Friday (13 December) with a proactive vehicle stop where officers seized offensive weapons and several suspected firearms during the stop.
Following this, a warrant was executed at a nearby address, resulting in the recovery of £12,000 in cash, a significantquantity of suspected Class A controlled drugs, and an additional firearm.
Thanks to the collaborative efforts of a number of our teams, the operation culminated in one individual being charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, alongside multiple other offences.
The 38-year-old man from Richmond appeared in court yesterday, where he was remanded into custody until his next court appearance in the New Year.
