Woman arrested after serious collision closed the A65

A woman has been arrested following a serious crash on the A65 in Craven yesterday (Thursday, 12 December).

We were called to Long Preston at around 4.40pm yesterday to reports of a two-car collision.

The driver of one vehicle, a woman in her 50s, was arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a roadside breath test.

The road was closed in both directions while emergency services attended the incident.
