The funeral of PC Rosie Prior will take place at York Minster on Thursday 13 February at 11am.
Rosie tragically died while on duty on Saturday 11 January in a road traffic collision.
The funeral will be a full ceremonial police funeral involving officers lining the final part of the route for the funeral cortege as it arrives at York Minster.
Over 800 people made up of Rosie’s family, friends, colleagues and members of North Yorkshire Police are registered to attend the service on Thursday. Members of the public will not be able to enter the Minster for the service and are welcome to line the route the funeral cortege will take along Duncombe Place.
The funeral service will be live-streamed from the Minster to enable members of the public to participate: https://youtube.com/live/RhIV7-5wxbc?feature=share
The service at the Minster will be followed by a private service at Thirsk crematorium.
