Stolen Motor vehicle

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a stolen motorvehicle, that has since been recovered, from Cooper Malton BMW in Malton north yorkshire.

It was taken from the forecourt of BMW at 3.20am on Tuesday 28 July 2015 and involved unidentified persons removing a Vauxhall Corsa, burnt orange in colour,  registration EK62 YYM.

It was then left on the road side of York Road for around 40 minutes. The offenders returned and appeared to tow the vehicle away with an unidentified silver car which then headed towards the direction of Malton.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident and althoughthis vehicle has since been found abondoned in anearby field, we are asking for anyone with any information to get in touch.

In particular, we are appealing for information about a silver vehicle seen on York Road industrial estate around the given times and or anyone seen in the vicinity at the time.
