Louise joined North Yorkshire Police as the Chief Finance Officer (S151 Officer to the Chief Constable) in November 2023.
Louise has a wide experience of local government having worked for three London Boroughs, North Yorkshire County, City of York, a Manchester Metropolitan Borough and two District Councils.
She is a FCCA qualified accountant with a BSc (Hons) degree in Accounting. Louise has also gained a postgraduate certificate in Coaching and Diploma in Leadership and Management.
As the S151 Officer for Hambleton District Council Louise led on the joint venture company to regenerate the former prison site which today provides Northallerton with Lidl, Iceland, Everyman and other retail outlets.
Louise has previously been a Trustee on the TrustNorth Yorkshire Pension Fund Board, a member of the Board of Veritau North Yorkshire Ltd which supplies North Yorkshire Council’s assurance services, and for two years (2021 – 2023) she worked in the private sector providing treasury management and technical accounting advice.
Louise enjoys sports, specifically running and in October 2022 ran Ripon 35 mile ultra (slowly).
