North Yorkshire Community Messaging is a free email alert service from North Yorkshire Police. When you sign up, we'll tell you what's happening in your area by sending you:

• crime alerts
• policing updates
• security advice

You'll be able to select the alerts that are the most important to you, such as:

• monthly fraud round-ups
• various watch schemes for business owners

You can also use the service to respond to officers and discuss issues.

Almost 99% of people who use the service and provided feedback found it useful (data from July 2025).
