Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information for the last three years in which the information is available.

Q1. The total number of Fixed Penalty Notices which were given for licence plate offences, specifically the offence related to the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 under section 11.

I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.

Q1. Please see the table below showing the number of recorded offences for Drive a vehicle when the registration mark fails to confirm with regulations, that were submitted for fixed penalty under section 11 of the regulations between 01 January 2022 to 31 December 2024, broken down by calendar year.

*Please note section 11 relates to the obscuring of characters, prohibition of textures plates, altering characters, spacing etc
