Q1. I am requesting data on the number of dogs your police force seized and/or put down between November 2023 to October 2024.
Q2. If possible, I request that the data be broken down by dog breed.

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you.
Q1. The number of dogs seized in the period 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024 is 31. Please note that this figure is representative of dogs seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 only, and does not include any dogs which may have been seized for welfare offences or in relation to other criminal matters. I can also confirm that 16 dogs have been euthanised either as a result of court order or sign over from the owner.
