I am writing to formally request the following information regarding thefts of quad bikes & farm machinery within the North Yorkshire County.

If in your reports you do not clearly or uniformly distinguish quad bike and farm machinery theft from general motor vehicle theft, I would like to know the terminology and categorisation you do use to track and document the specific form of crime to which I am referring.

Q1. 01/01/2023 - 31/12/2023

1. a) Quad bikes reported stolen
2. b) Quad bikes recovered (IE found and ceased by police)
3. c) Farm machinery theft reported (excluding quad bikes)

Q2. 01/01/2024 - 31/12/2024

1. a) Quad bikes reported stolen
2. b) Quad bikes recovered (IE found and ceased by police)
3. c) Farm machinery theft reported (excluding quad bikes)
