Request:
Please see below a link to an article on Operation Manuka.
https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/crime/three-held-over-30-years-of-abuse-at-scarborough-boys-home-1817304
This article asserts that officers from North Yorkshire police interviewed victims of abuse at Throxenby Hall as part of Operation Manuka and told them that many former pupils had committed suicide.
Q1. Please can you confirm if this is true and if so, how many former pupils North Yorkshire Police are aware of who took their own lives as a result of the abuse they suffered there.
I thank you in anticipation of your assistance in this request
