Q1) The total number of reported road traffic collisions each year for cars / motorbikes / pedestians /

cycling.

Q2) The five roads with the highest number of collisions

I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.

Q1. Please see the table below showing the number of road traffic collisions recorded for the timeframe specified, broken down by calendar year and whether it involved a car/motorbike/pedestrian/cyclist.

*please note, as some collisions will involve for instance a car and a motorbike or a car and a cyclist, these have been included in both tallies.

Q2.  Please see the below table showing the top five roads with the highest number of collisions at the time of the request.

Please note that systems used for recording information are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the data.  It should be noted therefore that this force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other responses you may receive.
