Q1. Please would you be able to advise of whether your force offers DAM (Domestic Abuse Matters) training to any external organisations, or whether this is reserved for in -house provision for force control, PCs and SPCs or similar?

I have today decided to disclose the following information to you.

Q1. North Yorkshire Police does not offer Domestic Abuse Matters training to external organisations. This training is delivered to a specific target audience of internal officers and staff.

Please note that systems used for recording information are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the data.  It should be noted therefore that this force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other responses you may receive.
