Request
Q1. A statement from the head of safeguarding on the force policy relating to the safeguarding of victims of crime who have police complaints and their right to work at north yorkshire police.
Q2. A further statement from The Head of Safeguarding: an explanation in reference to safeguarding policy as to why officers with live complaints against them can work in and/or be promoted to the professional standards department whilst their is an ongoing police complaint against them; and why victims of crime who make police complaint about the handling of crime investigations cannot work at North Yorkshire Police due to “safeguarding in relation to crime investigation and police complaint”. I am requesting a general statement about how this very interesting safeguarding policy works.
