Q1. North Yorkshire Police seized 19 suspected XL bullies from 31st December 2023 to 26 September 2024.

b. North Yorkshire Police are not currently signed up to the Interim Exemption Scheme.
c. All matters of stray XL bullies are assigned to the Local Authority to investigate and retain records for. North Yorkshire Police will assist the Local Authority when other criminal offences may come to light.

Q4. For the purposes of dogs seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 – North Yorkshire Police have seized 6 dogs. The breeds of these, where identified are Pitbull, Bull Terrier & Pocket Bully.
