North Yorkshire Police has released CCTV stills of some people that they would like to speak to about a serious assault in Thirsk.
The assault took place at the back of the White Horse Café in Thirsk Market Place at around 10pm on Saturday (16 October) following an incident in The Royal pub that had spilled onto the street.
Emergency services attended and the 32-year-old victim, who has a newborn baby at home, was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
A 21-year-old man was arrested shortly after on suspicion of wounding with intent and he has been released on bail.
A 24-year-old-man and 56-year-old man have also been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and have been released on bail.
Officers would now like to speak to the people pictured as they believe that they will have important information that could assist their investigation.
Do you recognise them? Or do you know who they are? Or were you in the pub that evening but you haven’t yet spoken to police?
Anyone with any information that can assist the investigation is asked to email [email protected] or call North Yorkshire Police on 101.
You can also provide information anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
