Witness appeal following 2-in-1 burglary in Skipton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a 2-in-1 burglary at a property on Meadow Lane in Cononley, Skipton.

At some time between 1am-2.15am on Sunday 11 June, thieves gained entry to the property by forcing the front door. They then went on to locate car keys and stolen two cars from the driveway - a grey Volkswagen Golf, registration A17 GFT and a black Land Rover Discovery, registration J1 JCA.

Officers are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for the public for their assistance to help identify suspects involved.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the burglary, or anyone who captured dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage of the vehicles leaving in the area is asked to get in touch.
