Arson attack on Kingsway West, York

We’re appealing for witnesses and information about an arson attack in York at about 3.45am in the early hours of Monday 15 April 2024.

During the incident, two suspects in dark clothing tried unsuccessfully to gain access to the back of a van on Kingsway West.

They then set fire to the front of the van, causing considerable damage.

We are asking for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, or who has captured anything on CCTV or dashcam, to get in touch.
