Witnesses sought following Malton assault

We’re appealing for information following an assault in Malton.

It happened at around 4.30pm on Saturday 23 March outside the Morrison's Daily on Milton Avenue. During the incident a man received several punches to his face and a cut requiring hospital treatment.

A man was arrested a short time later but has subsequently been bailed.

We’re particularly appealing for any information about the assault, such as descriptions about the people involved or what took place, that could help with our investigation.
