Appeal following assault in York

We’re appealing for witnesses following an assault which happened in the Acomb area of York.

It happened at approximately 5.20pm on Tuesday 03 September 2024 on Ridgeway in Acomb. The victim was walking down the street with a friend when he was assaulted by two men.

Following the incident the victim required treatment in hospital.
