We’re urging people to check their CCTV or dashcam footage after two valuable performance cars were stolen from Hebden near Grassington.
Masked thieves broke into a home between 2.30am and 3am yesterday (Sunday, 22 September) and took the keys to a red McLaren 720S and a black Mercedes AMG CLA35.
Both cars are pictured below...
We believe both cars were then driven out of the village and towards the Bradford area, possibly in convoy with a grey Volkswagen CC on 2014 plates.
A full investigation has been launched and remains ongoing.
PC Ruth Daley, who is investigating the incident, said: “We’re urging anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage on main routes between Craven and Bradford to report any significant footage from the early hours of yesterday morning that shows these vehicles.
“The McLaren in particular is a very distinctive vehicle, and any sightings or other information could help our investigation.
“We have conducted extensive enquiries in the area but if you haven’t already spoken to us, please get in touch if you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, potentially driving a grey VW Golf, or anyone who saw these cars being driven after 2am yesterday morning.”
Anyone with information should email [email protected] or call us on 101 and ask for Ruth Daley when prompted.
