Appeal following assault in York

We’re appealing for information about an assault that occurred in the Clifton Area of York.

It happened at approximately 3.55pm on Wednesday 16 October 2024 on Water Lane in Clifton.

The victim, a 15-year-old boy was approached by a group of people before been subject to a physical and verbal assault by a member of the group.

The suspect is described as a white teenager, approximately 15-16 years old and between 5ft 06in -5ft 08in in height and of slim build. He had short dark hair with a fringe and stubble above his top lip and was wearing a dark tracksuit.

He was in company with two other people who are also described as being teenagers. One was female with blonde hair and was wearing all grey and the other was a male with blond hair and was wearing a dark jacket with white t-shirt underneath.
