We’re advising residents who use a key safe box to check it, as we investigate a number of thefts in Knaresborough.
The key safe boxes – where you leave a spare key outside your house, often with a combination code - were stolen from Manor Gardens and Charlton Manor Drive over the past fortnight.
As part of our investigation we’re appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the incidents or saw someone acting suspiciously, or anyone with CCTV footage.
We’re also asking local residents to check their properties and any key safe boxes - make sure they have no damage, are secure and they're in full working order.
If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it immediately.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email [email protected]
