We’re appealing for information about a violent assault in York on 6 June 2025.
It happened at about 12.50am on the bridge over the River Ouse at Bridge Street.
Two men were walking over the bridge when an unknown man walking with a woman punched one of them. The victim suffered a possible fractured jaw, needing hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid 30s, with short dark hair, facial hair, and wearing a black tracksuit.
