Joshua Donnelly, aged 22 (date of birth 14/08/2003), has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place.
He appeared at York Magistrates’ Court on 20 September where he was remanded into custody ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing at York Crown Court on 27 October 2025 at 10.30am. The case file number is 12NY1148825. The court refers to his address as Duxford Road, Middlesbrough.
The other three who were arrested, a 22-year-old woman, a 54-year-old woman, and a 51-year-old man, remain on police bail while enquiries continue.
The victim has been discharged from hospital.

A 22-year-old man from Stockton-on-Tees has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident at the Flamingo Land Resort, Kirby Misperton, near Pickering.
It happened close to the onsite store just after 1am today (Thursday 18 September 2025).
The victim, a man aged in his 30s, suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is receiving treatment.
A 22-year-old woman, a 54-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, all from the Teesside area, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They remain in custody for questioning.
