We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Leyburn.
Officers were called last night (Friday 28 November 2025) at 10.10pm to a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Railway Street, by the A684 Harmby Road junction with Yoredale Way.
The car was a red Range Rover and the pedestrian, a man in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.
A woman in her 70s has been arrested in connection with the collision.
We’re particularly appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage of the incident to please get in touch.
