Motorcyclist dies after crash on A65 near Settle

We’re appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist on the A65.
It happened around 11.45am yesterday at the Settle bypass junction with Brackenber Lane near Giggleswick.
A Honda CBR 600 motorbike and a Peugeot 208 collided.
Sadly the motorcyclist, a man in his mid-30s, died at the scene.
The A65 was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
As part of our investigation we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it - or has dashcam or CCT footage if they haven’t already spoken to us.
