Two people have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident at a property on Huntington Road in York on 5 October.
A 55-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested at the time of the incident on 5 October.
They have been remanded in custody since their arrest and are due to appear at York Magistrates Court on 9 October 2025.
The 51-year-old man who was also arrested at the time, has been released on conditional bail while further enquiries are carried out.

Huntington Road has now been reopened following the closure overnight while we responded to the incident below.

Three people have been arrested after a man was stabbed at a property in Huntington Road in York.
Police were called to a disturbance at the property at around 11pm on the night of Sunday 5 October.
On arrival, a man in his 30s was found with serious abdominal injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Two men aged 55 and 51, and a woman aged 34, were all arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody at this time.
Officers believe all parties involved are known to each other and that the wider community were not at risk.
Police remain at the property this morning as officers carry out work to examine the scene of the incident. Huntington Road remains closed near the roundabout Monkgate / Heworth Green / Foss Bank and we advise motorists to avoid the area.
