Our team is responsible for Neighbourhood Policing in the Thirsk area. We are based at Thirsk Police Station. Our ambition is to provide a neighbourhood policing service of which you, and we, can be proud. Prevention will be at the heart of our work, through well-informed collaborative problem-solving, building participation and strengthening the communities we serve. We will remain part of those communities, known and accessible to you, and policing in a way that both prevents harm and enhances your trust in us.

We have recently seen an increase in anti-social behaviour surrounding Thirsk Leisure Centre.
Action taken:
Neighbourhood officers will be increasing there patrols around this area and will be working with the community safety hub and partners to try and reduce the anti-social behaviour.
We have now seen a reduction in reports around this.

Night Time Economy- We see an increase in Night Time Economy over the summer months due to Thirsk Races.
Action taken:
Extra patrols will be placed on dates when Thirsk Races will be occurring which also involve linking in with the local licence premises.
