Our team is responsible for Neighbourhood Policing in the Thirsk area. We are based at Thirsk Police Station. Our ambition is to provide a neighbourhood policing service of which you, and we, can be proud. Prevention will be at the heart of our work, through well-informed collaborative problem-solving, building participation and strengthening the communities we serve. We will remain part of those communities, known and accessible to you, and policing in a way that both prevents harm and enhances your trust in us.

Night Time Economy- We see an increase in Night Time Economy over the summer months due to Thirsk Races.
Action taken:
Extra patrols will be placed on dates when Thirsk Races will be occurring which also involve linking in with the local licence premises.

As the evenings begin to draw in and daylight hours reduce we will be ensuring that we offer crime prevention surgeries to assist with crime prevention advice and support for the upcoming winter months.
