Our team is responsible for Neighbourhood Policing in the Beckwithshaw, Rossett, Stray, Pannal, Hookstone, Granby and Starbeck areas. We are based at the police office at Beckwithhead, Harrogate. Our ambition is to provide a neighbourhood policing service of which you, and we, can be proud. Prevention will be at the heart of our work, through well-informed collaborative problem-solving, building participation and strengthening the communities we serve. We will remain part of those communities, known and accessible to you, and policing in a way that both prevents harm and enhances your trust in us.

Op Flight – Local response to burglaries and theft from unattended vehicles, targeting known offenders and disseminating safety and prevention advice to the community.
Action taken:
Local officers and Specialist Operations officers are carrying out targeted patrols in the Harrogate area. Analytical support is helping us develop information and facilitate intelligence led, targeted patrols. Regular messages through social media and community messenger alerts are helping to alert the public, providing crime prevention advice and minimising the opportunities to offenders.
