Our team is responsible for Neighbourhood Policing in and around Boroughbridge. We are based at the Boroughbridge Police Station, ajoined to the fire Station. Our ambition is to provide a neighbourhood policing service of which you, and we, can be proud. Prevention will be at the heart of our work, through well-informed collaborative problem-solving, building participation and strengthening the communities we serve. We will remain part of those communities, known and accessible to you, and policing in a way that both prevents harm and enhances your trust in us.

ASB in Boroughbridge - Actively disrupting and engaging with identified individuals
Action taken:
conducting high visible patrols in area identified to involve anti social behaviour and engaging with those involved- a number of youth have been spoken to and acceptable behaviour contracts put in place. Work remains ongoing for long term solutions.

Retail Crime - Ongoing prevention and early intervention to prevent retail crime across the area.
Action taken:
The team conduct regular patrols in retail areas and engage with partners.

Anti-social use of e-bikes and scooters in and around Boroughbridge.
Action taken:
Harrogate Outer NPT are aware that the anti-social use of electric bikes and scooters is increasing in the Boroughbridge area. This issue has been added to the plan for targeting ASB in conjunction with the Community Safety Hub and Problem Solving Team.
