Sadly, we have had a few car meets over the past few weeks within our area. We are working colleagues within WYP to try and deter this. The meets generally happen in the West Yorkshire area and then move over into North Yorkshire. We are continuing patrols along with Ops support units and specialist teams. Please continue to report incidents to us. We have also noted an increase in these vehicles driving towards the Sherburn Industrial estate, again please report any concerns to us.

We are actively reviewing reported incidents and monitoring those involved. Further action will be taken if issues persist. Encouragingly, ASB calls in the area are starting to reduce, and we’re confident that continued partnership work will help resolve these concerns.
