Concern for safety in York
At around 3am this morning (Wednesday, 14 June) officers were called to Ouse Bridge in York. This was following several reports of a concern for safety of a woman in the area. As at 7.30am officer remain at the scene and the area remains closed. Our colleagues from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service along with Yorkshire Ambulance are also in attendance. This is an ongoing incident and members of the public are asked to avoid the area and take alternative routes. Thank you for your understanding.
