    Tackling drug use in Eastfield & Filey. Disrupt and deter those who engage in any form of drug related activity within our communities

    **Update 8th June 2026**
    An amount of drugs were located at a property in Eastfield after information was received in relation to some suspected activity an arrest was made and investigation continues
    **Update 15th June 2026**
    A number of warrants have been executed in the Filey area resulting in two arrests along with a quantity of class A and B drugs being seized. Investigations continue

    A number of young persons have been causing problems within the area of Highstreet we are working closely with partners to tackle the issues please contact 101 if you are aware of any problems that we need to be aware of
    **Update 8th June 2026**
    The community have been reporting ongoing concerns around ASB in Eastfield proactive patrols in the area have seen a decrease in these reports. Please continue to report any issues
    **Update 15th July 2026**
    In relation to the reports made within the community around ASB concerns the team at Eastfield have been actively patrolling the hotspot areas and created a problem solving plan. We are working with our partners to tackle this issue and continue to thankyou for your support in reporting incidents

    OP Tourist - In our ongoing commitment to creating safer communities, we work closely with a range of partners including local authorities, licensed premises, community safety teams and support services to reduce drink related ASB and all forms of violence, particularly violence against women and girls. Through joint initiatives such as high-visibility patrols and targeted operations. We aim to prevent incidents before they occur having proactive engagement, raising public awareness and encouraging reporting.
    Our collaborative approach ensures that interventions are intelligence-led and victim-focused, with shared responsibility across agencies to promote safety and well being. By fostering strong relationships and open communication, we are better equipped to identify emerging risks, respond swiftly to concerns such as spiking, and support vulnerable individuals. Together, we are building a more resilient and respectful environment for everyone who lives in, works in, or visits our communities.

    Our Neighbourhood team attended Reighton sands holiday park on the 24th May and carried out engagements with the teams around safety and prevention
    **Update 15th July 2026 **
    The neighbourhood team attended holiday parks for community safety days offering crime prevention advice and discussing the implications of alcohol abuse with youths and their families. All working together to keep people safe within our community
